Stephen Osman will give an overview of the 1862 conflict with a discussion of the context, the causes, and the aftermath, including pictures and PowerPoint. Osman is a recently retired senior historian with the Minnesota Historical Society. He managed Historic Fort Snelling for over three decades. Free and open to the public.
