Randolph Pashe was born in 1946 in Portage La Prairie to Agnes Chaske and Andre Pashe. He lived at the Old Sioux Village Reserve until 1970 when he moved to the Dakota Tipi First Nation, Manitoba, Canada. He attended the Prince Charles School in Portage la Prairie. For the past 14 years, he has worked as a certified alcoholism counselor on the reserve. He is said to be a direct descendant of Chief Sitting Bull.
