"The Dakota War of 1862" exhibit provides visitors with a visual history of the causes of the war, the conflict itself and the aftermath. The exhibit was developed by William Mitchell College of Law's Indian Law program with funding from the Minnesota Historical Society. The exhibit, which includes reproductions of documents and photos from the Society's collections, will be on view at the Brown County Historical Society from Aug. 1 through Labor Day, Sept. 3.
