Fort Ridgely, Fairfax, At 1 p.m. independent historian John LaBatte will talk about missionaries among the Dakota, their influence and the experiences of Christian Dakota in U.S.-Dakota War of 1862. At 2:30 p.m. he will lead a tour of the parade grounds where he will discuss battles from August, 1862. Sponsored by the Nicollet County Historical Society.
